INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS OUTSIDE EUROPE
FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT
Agreement signed between two or more higher education institutions, for which the cooperation arrangements are defined in a specific agreement.
SPECIFIC AGREEMENT
Partnership between two higher education institutions (supervised student exchanges, double degrees, off-campus degrees).
STUDY PROGRAM
Cooperation program between several international universities. (BCI)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Be a student at Université Côte d'Azur when applying for mobility outside Europe and during the period of study or internship abroad.
- Have a good academic level (over the entire university experience)
- Provide at least two letters of recommendation written by university professors
- Submit a complete application for study outside Europe to the International Relations Office (BIR) within the application deadline.
APPLICATION PROCESS
At the beginning of each academic year (September to October), meetings are held on the different campuses to explain and present information about the international mobility opportunities available to students of Université Côte d'Azur.
Throughout the year, the International Relations Office (BRI) on each campus is the main contact. Its role is to advise and guide students planning an international mobility to make sure that their experience fits into their course schedule.
Once the students have finalized their choice, they fill out an application and list 3 choices in order of preference. The application is then sent to the Central International Relations Office (DRI).
CANDIDATE SELECTION
Once the period for applications has closed, the DRI examines all the applications and organizes an International Relations Committee (CORI) with the International Relations representatives from the different campuses of Université Côte d'Azur. The committee selects the candidates based on their merit, motivation, and the quality of the application submitted.
Important information: selection by the CORI does not mean that the partner university has accepted the application.
Applicants selected must wait for the letter of acceptance from the chosen institution before starting to organize their departure (flight reservations, VISA application, search for housing, etc.).
WHY GO ABROAD?
An international mobility experience is both a unique academic opportunity and a personal adventure. The decision to discover a new environment, new teaching methods, a new culture, and sometimes a new language can be the result of a carefully planned project or simply reflect a desire for change.
For this reason, Université Côte d'Azur has developed its International Relations Network to provide its student community with information and assistance in making the right choice and preparing for an international mobility (for study or an internship).
