About the LIFE Graduate School
Overview
The Graduate School of Life and Health Sciences (LIFE) is one of the 8 thematic Graduate Schools of Université Côte d'Azur. Its themes cover three major disciplinary fields that range from molecular and cellular biology to physiopathology and medical research, including ecosystems biology.
The aim of Graduate Schools is to develop strong ties between academic degrees and both research and industry, encourage transdisciplinary approaches and foster innovation.
A word from the directors
The Community of Life and Health Sciences of Université Côte d'Azur is recognized worldwide for its scientific excellence in molecular mechanisms, development, pathophysiology, neurosciences, chronic diseases including cancer, metabolic diseases and more recently aging, terrestrial and marine ecology, interaction biology and biological control. LIFE has established strong connections between science, academia, and private companies, with the aim of providing the biologists of the future with an education that combines an international outlook with interdisciplinarity and innovation.
