PREPARE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Graduate School of Life and Health Sciences organizes events and training sessions that encourage an entrepreneurial spirit for students who wish to set up their own business. Students interested in developing their skills and knowledge can enroll in a minor teaching unit (UE) in "Technology transfer and entrepreneurship", a University Degree in Entrepreneurship or Invent@UCA and SKEMA Ventures programs.

Minor UE "Technology transfer and entrepreneurship"

Objectives: Learn the processes involved in transferring research results to a market-ready product, the basics of intellectual property (IP) and entrepreneurial and managerial principles.

Content:This teaching unit includes 4 hours of theoretical courses followed by 3 workshops of the Invent@UCA program or a minor course of the Master of Science Entrepreneurship & Innovation of SKEMA Business School.

University Degree in Entrepreneurship

The University Degree in Entrepreneurship is a multidimensional, customizable program. Not only does it provide students with an overall perspective of entrepreneurship, it also heps them develop hands-on expertise and learn pertinent methods to challenge their ideas and successfully carry out their entrepreneurial projects. Whether the objective is to start a business or specialize in entrepreneurial practices, this university degree provides 4 types of skillsets:

Introduction to entrepreneurship through modules that help students discover the entrepreneurial minset; A more applied understanding of entrepreneurship gained by experimenting with the entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurship via courses in full project mode aimed at bringing out entrepreneurial opportunities; Learning to build a project by assembling its components, studying its feasibility and preparing its launch; Implementation by launching the project and receiving customized support.

SKEMA Ventures
Skema Ventures is a panel of entrepreneurship training courses offered by Skema Business School.

INVENT@UCA is a co-creation program that puts professionals in contact with students. It offers a wide range of customized training programs and experiences that involve multidisciplinary teamwork on real cases to create innovative, relevant and sustainable solutions.

As a student, you can obtain the National Student-Entrepreneur Status (SNEE) issued by PÉPITE PACA EST.
