External Monitoring Committee
The Monitoring Committee is responsible for providing advice and making recommendations on the EUR’s direction and strategy.
It consists of at least three representatives from the academic community and three from the socio-economic sector.
To ensure the committee’s complete autonomy, it is composed exclusively of individuals from outside the EUR who are selected based on their nationally or internationally recognized expertise or their work in promoting research and disseminating knowledge in fields within the EUR’s scope. The members of the Monitoring Committee are appointed by the Director upon the recommendation of the CoSP following a call for applications. They are appointed for a renewable four-year term.
