Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Degrees in Life and Health Sciences
The "LIFE" Graduate School in Life and Heath Sciences places research, the socio-economic sector, and international engagement at the heart of its educational program
By leveraging the direct links we have established between research, education, and industry, our school aims to train the biologists of tomorrow through three key pillars: internationalization, interdisciplinarity, and innovation.
A training program focused on research, the socio-economic sector, and international affairs
Courses "on demand"
The Master's in Life Sciences is an innovative program composed of modular courses. Each student can customize their academic path through optional course units (CUs) that they can freely choose based on their scientific interests, thereby rounding out their education.
Throughout their studies, students acquire cross-disciplinary and methodological skills. Graduates of the Master’s in Life Sciences are experts in a scientific field equipped with complementary skills in various aspects of biology, neuroscience, pharmacology, and genetics.
A research-based educational program
The LIFE Graduate School (EUR LIFE) draws on centers of research excellence located in Nice and Sophia-Antipolis, enabling Master’s students to gain high-level research experience through long-term internships in our research teams. These research centers bring together more than 80 teams comprising over 1,000 researchers spread across the laboratories C3M, IBV, IPMC, IRCAN, LP2M, ISA, ECOSEAS, PHEN-X, UR2CA, LRTO et CCMA.
The LIFE Graduate School professional network also extends to local biotech and medtech companies and international pharmaceutical firms, offering our students the opportunity to secure an internship in the private sector.
Our Master's Programs
The Master's programs in Life Sciences and Neuroscience are top-tier programs focused on the most cutting-edge and competitive fields in biology.
Doctorate Degrees
Doctoral students conduct their research at the research institutes and laboratories affiliated with the Doctoral School 85 for Life and Health Sciences (ED SVS)
Our University Certificates (D.U.)
University diplomas (in French: "Diplômes Universitaires", or "D.U."), sometimes also referred to as D.E. (institutional diplomas), are distinct degrees awarded directly by Université Côte d'Azur without requiring approval from the Ministry of Higher Education.
Bachelor's Degrees - The Life Sciences Portal
The Life Sciences Portal, affiliated with the LIFE Graduate School, is the organization that oversees the university’s bachelor’s degree programs in Life Sciences, dual bachelor’s degree programs, and professional bachelor’s degree programs.
The portal offers courses in biology, combined with courses in other disciplines, and prepares students to pursue master’s degrees, particularly those in the EUR LIFE program, by enabling them to acquire multidisciplinary scientific knowledge and skills.
