Steering Committee (COPIL)

The Steering Committee (COPIL) oversees the Graduate School. Under the leadership of its director or co-director, it develops and implements the school’s strategy.
 

Missions

The Steering Committee defines the Gradudate School’s policy, particularly its academic program in relation to research, based on a proposal from the director or co-director, after consulting the Scientific and Academic Council (CoSP) and in accordance with the institution’s scientific policy. Furthermore, in accordance with the institution’s policy, its role includes, in particular:

  • Define the regional expansion policy, particularly the dynamics with research organizations, constituent institutions, partner institutions, and other components of Université Côte d'Azur
  • Define an HR and financial strategy, particularly regarding the institution’s own resources
  • Appoint the program directors for degrees offered by the EUR
  • Define an international relations strategy

Composition of the Steering Committee (COPIL)

Steering committee members are permanent non-voting members of the Scientific and Academic Council (CoSP).
In the event of a tie, the Director of the Graduate School has the casting vote.
COPIL members serve for a term of four years or until their successors are appointed.
